Renovation of a laboratory facility in Boulder, Colorado. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility.
The contractor shall extend the existing Wing 6 demising wall in Building 1 vertically to the structural concrete deck to thermally and mechanically isolate Wing 6 from the Spine corridor. Work includes sealing all wall penetrations and abandoned penetrations with appropriate fire-rated materials where the wall separates the Women's restroom from the Spine corridor. An optional scope may include reconstructing Storage Room 4089, installing hollow metal doors and frames with security hardware, sealing penetrations within the reconstructed wall system, providing fire sprinkler protection, installing interior lighting, and furnishing NIST-standard signage. All work requires the contractor to provide materials, labor, debris removal, safety compliance, and coordination with the Government COR while adhering to OSHA and NIST campus safety requirements. Location: NIST Boulder Laboratories Campus, 325 Broadway, Boulder, CO 80305 The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
