Renovation of a laboratory facility in Dillon, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility.

Summit County Snake River Wastewater Treatment Plant is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to provide design and renovation construction services for the modernization of its existing Water Quality Laboratory. Proposals must be titled "Proposal for 2026 Water Quality Laboratory Renovation" and can be submitted electronically or by sealed, hardcopy delivery. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder who best meets the requirements of Summit County and the public interest. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive irregularities or informalities, and to conduct investigations or negotiations as it deems necessary to select the most responsible and responsive proposal. Submit questions regarding the proposals to the provided contact emails. Scope of Work Provide an outline of the contractor’s understanding of the project. Summarize the basic approach to providing the services, and any recommendations on improving efficiencies in the process. Qualifications Contractor shall furnish a summary of experience on similar projects and be prepared to provide examples. Include a brief description of past and current projects. Each summary shall include a brief project description and name, address and phone number of a local contact person involved in the project. The statement of qualifications should also provide a summary of contractor's ability to successfully complete the requirements of this RFP. The statement of qualification shall be brief but shall include at a minimum the following: 1. Description of similar projects 2. Capabilities (including equipment) and staff Scope of services includes, but is not limited to, the following: a. Project design and construction services must include the following: i. Existing laboratory material removal, disposal and replacement of all windows, countertops, casework, fume hood, sinks, fixtures, ceiling system, lighting and flooring. ii. Minor carpentry iii. Interior painting iv. Required permitting and abatement b. Upon receiving award, the Contractor and Utility Director will jointly develop a detailed project schedule and agree upon that schedule prior to commencement of any work. Any changes to schedule or deadlines will be approved by the Contractor and Utility Director in writing. c. Contractor will meet with Utility Director prior to construction to review and approve design and product submittals Submit questions regarding the proposals to josh.johnson@summitcountyco.gov.
