Description

Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in North East, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.

The project will generally consist of the construction of an aluminum structural plate box culvert structure, as well as the installation of riprap scour protection, guide rail, and general restoration activities. Bidders must be prequalified in accordance with PennDOT Publication 408, Section 102.01 and/or Township requirements. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage rates are applicable. Each bid must include a Bid Bond equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid. Bids without a Bid Bond will be rejected. Addenda, if any, will be issued only to those whose name and address are on record with the Owner as having obtained the contract documents. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Owner for up to 60 days from the opening of bids for reviewing and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
