Renovation of a mixed-use development in Wilton, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 414,585-square-foot, three-story above grade educational facility.

The Work of the Project is confined to the 1969 Library wing of the High School and is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following 1. Partial roof replacement of existing built up roofing with new EPDM roof assembly, including insulation to meet energy code. This includes all associated flashing, blocking, metal coping, drains, scuppers, ladders etc. 2. Replacement of existing skylights and curbs. 3. Replacement of roof top mechanical units RTU 2 & 3 including associated roof mounted duct work. RTUs shall be installed in similar locations as existing RTUs and ducts shall utilize existing roof penetrations. 4. New roof mounted screen walls to conceal RTU-2 at lower roof. 5. Demolition of existing 6" roof top concrete pads. 6. New access catwalk 7. Interior work includes repair and painting of existing gypsum wallboard, new gypsum wallboard finish at skylight well, and replacement of existing wall mounted registers. The scope of the inspection was limited to the accessible upper and lower library roofing systems, accessible portions of mechanical equipment located on each roof, the skylight systems on the upper roof and accessible interior finishes within the library that are anticipated to be impacted by the roof replacement project. Project includes, but is not limited to, replacement of roof, RTUs, rooftop ductwork, and skylights and the repair of interior gypsum wallboard finish.
