Description

Renovation of a multi-residential development in Chester, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

The City of Chester is requesting bids for the inspection, testing, reporting, and safe removal of asbestos at four properties as part of the 2026 Dilapidated Home Project. The properties are located at 703 6th St, 209 Alpine Way, 166 Montana Ave, and 550 Virginia Ave, all in Chester, WV. The bidder must be licensed and in good standing to perform the work described. The bidder must also agree to acquire a City of Chester business license before commencing work. The successful bidder will be responsible for acquiring Air Quality Clearance for each property that requires remediation. The City of Chester reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced, or conditional bids.
