Renovation of a swimming pool in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a swimming pool.
Sealed bids are being accepted for the McDade Park Pool Repair project. All bids must be sealed, plainly marked with the project name, and submitted with a bid bond, certified check, or cash equal to 10% of the bid amount. Required documents include a Non-Collusion Affidavit of Prime Bidder, Bid Bond, Statement of Bidders Qualifications, and Bid Form and Agreement. The Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 apply. Payment and performance bonds are required from the successful bidder. Pennsylvania prevailing wages apply with certified payrolls. Bids will only be accepted from firms attending and registering at the mandatory pre-bid meeting. Bids may be held for up to sixty days for review and investigation, and for an additional sixty days if awaiting approvals. Instructions for submitting questions and objections, as well as requirements for procurement documents, are provided. The Scope of Work will include the demolition and installation of pool tiles, demolition and repair of pool basin joint sealant, demolition of concrete, installation of concrete, installation of trench drains (2), installation of permeable pavers, and modification to an existing deck drain at McDade Park Pool.
