Sealed proposals are requested for the Scranton School District Monticello Primary Center Selective Demolition Bid Package. The project consists of renovation of an existing 35,000 SF facility into the Monticello Primary Center. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the removal and disposal of interior partitions, doors, ceilings, floor finishes, interior furniture, lighting, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical. Bidders must submit two hard copies of their sealed proposal to the Scranton School District. Proposals must be submitted in duplicate on the forms furnished and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) made payable to the Scranton School District. All proposals shall be irrevocable for sixty (60) days after the bid opening date. Prospective bidders are urged to familiarize themselves with the specifications and contract documents. It is the responsibility of the Contractor and the sub-contractors to check and incorporate any addenda into the bid. If all the addenda are not included in the submitted bid, the bid will be rejected. The project is subject to State Prevailing Wage Rates, is tax exempt, and requires Act 34, Act 151, and Act 114 clearances.
