Renovation of a military facility in Kahlotus, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
The successful offeror must supply, install, and commission new ductless heat pump systems for the Tech Section Office Building at Lower Monumental Lock & Dam. Work includes removing and properly disposing of existing outdoor condenser units, line sets, wire whips, and mounting pads in compliance with all local, state, and federal requirements. The existing indoor air handlers will remain in place for ventilation and emergency backup heat, but all freon must be evacuated and line sets capped. Existing drain lines and electrical wiring must be adapted, modified, or upgraded as necessary to ensure proper connection of the new systems at no additional cost to the government. All work must meet or exceed applicable Corps of Engineers and OSHA safety standards, building and electrical code requirements, permits, and prevailing wage requirements. The successful offeror will perform commissioning of the new system to verify proper installation, function, and compliance with all performance specifications.
