As of April 13, 2026 this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be after 4-6 weeks. The project consists of the removal and replacement of the existing surface course of approximately 1,500 feet of the central portion of Taxiway C. Work tasks include asphalt milling, shaping and blending the existing base course with the new base course, compacting the blended base course, paving of 3 inches of new asphalt surface course, and pavement marking. Bid proposals must be submitted online through the City's OpenGov Procurement portal prior to the bid due date and time. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cash, cashiers check, or bid bond in an amount not less than 5% of the total bid. Bidders must furnish a Statement of Bidders Pre-Qualifications to the owner with satisfactory evidence of their competence to perform the work. All required federal clauses, labor provisions, and wage rates are included in the specifications and bid documents. Each bidder must supply all of the information required by the bid documents and specifications. The award of the bid is contingent upon the receipt of Federal funding. The City of Caldwell reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, waive any informalities or irregularities, postpone the award of the contract for a period not to exceed one hundred twenty (120) days, and accept the proposal that is in the best interest of the City of Caldwell, Idaho.
