Bid cancelled The work generally consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary for: Area 1 - Electrical Conduit and Power Installation: Install approximately 350 linear feet of two-inch Schedule 40 PVC conduit with associated wiring, including all excavation and backfilling; furnish and install three #12 AWG copper THWN-2 conductors to provide 120-volt power to the ADS ECHO monitoring unit; furnish and install utility-approved meter base and outdoor-rated breaker/disconnect enclosure; provide electric power service and distribution, including coordination with Met-Ed; core-drill manhole and extend conduit into manhole interior, including sealing. Area 2 - Manhole Modifications and Electrical Installation: Install approximately 70 linear feet of two-inch Schedule 40 PVC conduit with associated wiring, including all excavation and backfilling; furnish and install three #12 AWG copper THWN-2 conductors; furnish and install utility-approved meter base and breaker/disconnect enclosure; provide electric power service and distribution, including coordination with Met-Ed; core-drill manhole and extend conduit into manhole interior, including sealing; remove existing frame and cover, furnish and install one 18-inch precast concrete riser section and new frame and cover. Area 3 - Sanitary Sewer Manhole Installation: Installation of one five-foot-diameter sanitary sewer manhole complete with frame and cover to an approximate depth of eleven feet, including excavation, bedding, structure installation, cut-in/tie-in to existing sanitary sewer, backfill, compaction, surface restoration, and required testing. Instructions to bidders include: Bid security in the form of a Certified Check or Bid Bond in an amount not less than 10% must be furnished with the bid. Bidders must comply with State antibid-rigging regulations and submit an executed non-collusion affidavit. Compliance with federal and state statutes, prevention of environmental pollution, and the Public Works Employment Verification Act is required. All bidders must submit a Public Works Employment Verification Form. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act applies. Bids are irrevocable for 60 days after bid opening, except under certain circumstances.
