Remodeling of an educational facility in Vancouver, Washington. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.
The Contractor will provide all labor, equipment, materials, project management, and site supervision as required to complete all work for CTA Minor Works HVAC & Electrical Upgrades as described in the project drawings and specifications. The project is estimated to cost $450,000. Bids will be opened and read aloud immediately after the bid closing time for their receipt, at which time all interested persons are entitled to attend the bid opening. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid amount, excluding applicable State of Washington taxes. Bid security shall be forfeited as damages should the Bidder neglect or refuse to enter into a contract and provide a suitable bond for performance/payment for labor and materials. The Board of Directors of Evergreen Public Schools reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions thereof and waive any informality or irregularities. The general scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following: o Provide a full building HVAC controls upgrade for the 500 and 600 Buildings to meet current District standards. Work includes replacement of existing control devices, controllers, sensors, control wiring, and integration of associated HVAC equipment into the District's building automation system. o Replace the Salon HVAC system, including removal of the existing system and installation of a new rooftop unit, associated ductwork modifications, controls integration, and any required structural reinforcement to support the new equipment. o Provide additional electrical circuits in classrooms as indicated on the drawings, including new branch circuit wiring, devices, and panelboard connections. o Provide all associated demolition, modifications, and system connections necessary to complete the work as shown on the drawings and as required for a complete and operational installation.
