Renovation of an educational facility in Palos Hills, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Lump sum bid proposals will be received for the MVCC 2026 Lab Renovations project. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cash equal to ten percent (10%) of the base bid amount must be submitted with the bid. Bids must be submitted in an opaque sealed envelope. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held. The College reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, or to waive any irregularities or informalities, and to make the award in the best interest of the College. Minority and women-owned businesses are highly encouraged to participate. The contract calls for the construction of a public work under the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, requiring contractors and subcontractors to pay no less than the prevailing rate of wages and comply with all requirements of the Act, including wage, notice, record keeping duties, and Equal Employment Opportunity Laws. All questions regarding this Invitation to Bid must be submitted in writing. Bidding documents are available upon receipt of a refundable deposit for plans and the Project Manual. Questions must be emailed to dsikorski@dka-design.com, with "MVCC 2026 Lab Renovations" in the subject line. No questions will be addressed after 5:00 PM (CDT) on March 24, 2026.
