Site work for a municipal facility in San Bruno, California. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
The work includes, but is not limited to, the installation of nine new electric vehicle charging stations and associated electrical equipment. All work items shall be constructed in accordance with the contract plans and specifications. Each bidder is required to submit a Statement of Qualifications. All work must be completed within 21 working days from the effective date of the Notice to Proceed. A California Class "A" contractor's license is required to bid. Joint ventures must secure a joint venture license prior to award. Bidders must submit the required documents and items in sealed envelopes to the Office of the City Clerk. Cash, cashier's check, certified check, or bond of at least ten percent (10%) of the bid must accompany the bid. Bidders are responsible for their own bid preparation costs. The City will permit the substitution of securities for any retention monies withheld. The successful bidder must comply with all prevailing wage laws. Bidders must base their bids on specified products and systems, and substitutions are only allowed as specifically provided. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, re-bid, or waive inconsequential defects or minor irregularities not involving time, price, or quality of the work.
