Site work and new construction of an industrial development in New Castle, Delaware. Completed plans call for the construction of a 1,500-square-foot, one-story above grade industrial development; and for site work for a industrial development.
The project scope includes, but is not limited to, the construction of a new 1,500 sq.ft., one story building with a 600 sq.ft. storage mezzanine, designated as a pole barn, for the storage and maintenance of small equipment. Work includes a small dog kennel, concrete slabs, wood structure, metal siding and roofing, aluminum-clad windows, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. Sealed bids will be received through the Bonfire Portal. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid meeting is required for eligibility to bid. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security equivalent to ten percent of the bid amount and all additive alternates. The successful bidder must post a performance bond and payment bond in a sum equal to 100 percent of the contract price upon execution of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities therein. Minority Business Enterprises, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, Women-Owned Business Enterprises, and Veteran-Owned Business Enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids.
