The scope of work consists of furnishing all equipment, labor, and materials required to complete the demolition and removal of the existing blighted structures, weatherproofing of adjacent structures' exterior walls, and associated site restoration at specified addresses in McEwensville, PA. Instructions to bidders include submitting a certified check or bank draft payable to the Housing Authority of Northumberland County or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid. Bidders must include a fully completed Non-Collusion Affidavit with the bid. Documentary evidence of minority and women business enterprises and Section 3 business concerns contacted and commitments made must be submitted. Bidders should strive to meet the established goals for MBE, WBE, and Section 3 participation. Digital copies of Payment & Performance Bonds as well as the Certificate of Insurance are required. The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities, or to negotiate contract amounts. Davis-Bacon and Related Acts apply to this project.
