Site work for a water / sewer project in Kosciusko, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope of work includes sewer system rehabilitation with cleaning, video inspection, point repairs, cured-in-place pipe, and miscellaneous work. Instructions to bidders: Separate sealed bids must be submitted, accompanied by bid security as provided in the Notice and Instructions to Bidders. Bidders must comply with Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968, the Davis-Bacon Act, the Anti-Kickback Act, the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, and President's Executive Order No. 11246. All bids over $50,000 must comply with Section 31-3-21 of the Mississippi Code of 1972 and include a "Certificate of Responsibility" license number on the exterior of the sealed envelope. Contractors must complete the Certification of Nonsegregated Facilities. The project requires compliance with the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA); all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials must be produced in the United States unless a waiver is approved. Minority and women's business enterprises are encouraged to bid and to seek subcontracting opportunities.
