Plans call for consolidating 77,000 square-foot onto a compact footprint, CICEL frees approximately one acre of land for a new restored greenspace, transforming former building sites into prairie habitat, outdoor learning areas, and a revitalized public realm. As of March 23, 2026, the project is on indefinite hold, with design and preconstruction activities scheduled to continue through the remainder of 2026. Procurement is planned for early 2027, followed by a target construction start date in late 2028. Notably, funding has not yet been allocated.
