Site work for a civil project in Falher, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
Culvert replacement and other work. Bridge File 86366, SW 14-78-21-W5M carrying a local road over the Desilet Drainage, 5 km NW of Falher. Work at this site includes the removal and disposal of the existing 2 - 2159 mm x 1473 mm arch CSP culvert structures with 18 m invert lengths and the installation of a 2 - 2700 mm CSP culvert structures with a 29.00 m invert length. The crossing is located on Township Road 782 over the Desilet Drainage Channel, 5 km northwest of Fahler. A location plan has been included in the Plans section of this document for the Contractor's convenience. Without limiting the provisions of these Specifications and Contract, the Scope of Work at this site shall include the following: - Traffic Accommodation - Demolition and Disposal of Existing Structure - Excavation - CSP Supply - CSP Assembly - Backfill - Roadway Work - Supply and Placement of Class 1 Heavy Rock Riprap - Supply and Installation of Erosion Control Soil Covering (Type C) - Supply and Installation of Erosion Control Barrier (Straw Fibre Roll) - Supply and Installation of Erosion Control Barrier (Silt Fence)
