2026 GSB-88 Bituminous Seal - Finishes/Exterior The City of Mequon, Wisconsin will receive bids for the 2026 GSB-88 Bituminous Seal, which includes GSB-88 Bituminous Pavement Sealing on approximately 9 miles of Mequon city streets. Bids must be submitted on the provided forms and enclosed in a sealed envelope labeled with the bidder's name, address, and contract title. Project manuals, contract documents, and specifications are available from the City Engineering office and can be purchased or reviewed at Mequon City Hall. Work can start after July 6th, 2026, and must be completed by August 31st, 2026. Bidders must submit a qualification statement detailing financial ability, equipment, and experience at least five days prior to the bid opening. A certified check or satisfactory bid bond of at least 5% of the bid amount must accompany each bid. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, or accept the bid(s) in the City's best interest. No bid can be withdrawn for sixty days after the opening without the City's consent. The selected contractor must provide required contract documents within five working days after notification.
