Site work and paving for a road / highway in Boyertown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Bid proposals are requested for 2026 Roadwork, which includes placement of 9.5mm Leveling Course (approximately 1,806 tons), 9.5mm Wearing Course overlay (approximately 3,609 tons), 4 25mm Base Course (approximately 734 square yards), base repair (approximately 388 square yards), milling (approximately 3,085 square yards), and other work as specified. Bids must be submitted on township-furnished forms via PennBID. Required documents with the bid package include proof of PennDOT prequalification, workmans compensation affidavit, insurance certificate, CDL compliance certificate, public works verification form, and anti-collusion affidavit. A certified check or bank draft payable to Earl Township or a bid bond with acceptable sureties in the amount of 10% of the bid must be included. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond or certified check and payment bond for 100% of the contract price within 20 days after award. All work must be completed by August 21, 2026, with liquidated damages of $500.00 per calendar day for late completion. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates apply. Earl Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or waive defects or irregularities in bids received.
