Site work and paving for a road / highway in Rigby, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The City of Rigby is seeking bids for a Chip seal project to be completed between July 2nd and August 7th, 2026. The project consists of chip sealing approximately 70,186 square yards of roadway. The sealcoat must be applied in accordance with ISPWC Section 808, with CRS2-R emulsion at a minimum application rate of 0.45 to 0.50 gallons per square yard, using Class 4 cover coat material per Table 1 of ISPWC Section 808, spread at a rate of 25 to 28 pounds per square yard. The seal coat will be paid by the square yard per ISPWC Pay Item 808.4.1.A.1. Some work may need to be performed on Sunday due to work areas in the downtown business area, with the rest performed during the week. The City will assist with traffic control. After chip seal, the site must be broomed according to ISPWC Section 808. All responsible bidders must have an Idaho Public Works License, be bonded, and have appropriate insurance. Bids must be sealed and mailed or submitted in person to the City of Rigby Clerk. The City of Rigby may add or subtract yardage depending on the favorability of the bids and retains the right to accept or reject any and all bids.
