The work consists of providing all required materials, equipment, all related appurtenances, and labor necessary to complete the improvements of the 6-Inch Water Line, 4-Inch Wastewater Forcemain, and approximately 130 GPM Wastewater Pump Station to serve Hampton Lumber at the approximately 209-acre Walkers Road Site in Allendale County, South Carolina. The proposed improvements include approximately 14,000 linear feet of six-inch water line, sixteen yard hydrant assemblies and associated appurtenances; a 130 GPM duplex wastewater pump station; approximately 235 linear feet of eight-inch PVC gravity wastewater line; approximately ten linear feet of ten-inch PVC gravity wastewater line; two wastewater manholes; approximately 5,600 linear feet of four-inch wastewater forcemain and associated appurtenances. Bidders are required to comply with relevant executive orders prohibiting discrimination, and must deposit security with all bids in the form of a certified check or bid bond for not less than five percent of the amount of the bid. Bidders must be legally qualified under South Carolina law, fully acquaint themselves with the conditions relating to the scope and restrictions of the work, and ensure they hold the proper and active South Carolina License Classification. Award is contingent on funding approval and based on the total cost of the base bid. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
