The scope of work includes providing materials for a raw water transmission main. This involves the purchase of potable water main materials including PVC pipe, HDPE pipe, fittings, valves, and other components required for a new raw water transmission in Gulf County, Florida. Bidders are required to submit their original bid plus two copies and clearly mark the envelope with their company name, sealed bid, and the bid number. Bids may be submitted electronically through the County’s online bidding platform or as paper sealed bids to the Clerk’s Office. All bids must remain firm for sixty days after opening, and bidders must comply with relevant state and local laws regarding licensing, registration, and regulation of contractors. The bid must also conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, on public entity crimes. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive informalities, accept or reject any or all bids, and select the bid they determine to be in the best interest of Gulf County.
