The work shall include, but is not limited to, the removal of existing filter and clarifier media, proper disposal of removed media, proper installation of new media as specified, and all work appurtenant thereto.Bid items also include surface preparation via abrasive media blasting, clean up, protective coating of filter and clarifier basins, and replacement of all steel fasteners with stainless steel fasteners, nozzles, blast and paint waste gates, and new gaskets at waste gates. Replacement of cathodic protection on Clarifiers after coating shall also be included. All work shall be performed in accordance with the project specifications, applicable standards, and regulatory requirements to ensure a complete, operational, and compliant installation.
