**As of April 02, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded this coming Thursday** Sealed bids will be received for the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the project known as paving of various Hocking County roads, Salt Creek Township roads, Benton Township, Falls Township, and Logan City streets. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in the amount of ten percent of the bid amount, issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Bidders must submit evidence of experience on projects of similar size and complexity and a complete listing of all subcontractors to be used. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project must use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor to the extent practicable. Contractor compliance with equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, and the Governor’s Executive Order 84-9 is required. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Hocking County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations. The Hocking County Commissioners reserve the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
