Site work for a water / sewer project in Logan, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The project consists of installing four catch basins, storm piping, and backfilling to grade at Charles St. and TR-1060 in West Logan. The contractor is responsible for marking all utilities and repairing or replacing any damaged ones unless otherwise agreed. Major utility crossings must be exposed prior to pipe installation to allow for necessary adjustments in grade and alignment. All catch basins must be ODOT Standard Number 2-2A, which can be constructed in place or precast if accepted by Falls Township and the County Engineer. The piping required is 12-inch Havilland Smooth Flow Pipe, solid with bell ends F477 (OD=14.5 inches), or an approved equal. Backfill must be compacted granular material, and the contractor is responsible for backfilling to grade unless otherwise agreed. Falls Township will handle asphalt repairs. The contractor shall also shape ditches as needed to facilitate water flow. Falls Township will secure easements if construction is needed outside the right-of-way. Construction must begin no later than two weeks after the bid is awarded. All bids must be sealed and are required to include a certificate of insurance. The Trustees reserve the right to reject any and/or all bids.
