The Work Consists of the Replacement of the Existing Water Main by Furnishing and Installing Approximately 510 Linear Feet of 10-inch and 50 Linear Feet of 6-inch Diameter C900 Pvc Water Main Within Market Street and David Street Including Water Service Replacements, Fire Hydrant, Valves, and Fittings. Contract Duration 120 Consecutive Calendar Days Each Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Bid Bond Payable to the Owner for Ten Percent of the Total Amount of the Bid The Right is Reserved, as the Interests of the Town of Frederica May Appear, to Reject Any and All Bids, to Waive Any Informality in Bids Received, and to Accept or Reject Any Items of Any Bid. Project Location: The water main replacement work will be along Market Street between Front and David Streets within the street right-of-way. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. Construction of a replacement water main. 2. Furnish and install new potable water piping and associated appurtenances to reconnect existing water services within the roadway right-of-way. 3. Cut, remove, and lawfully dispose of existing pipe materials. 4. Cut, cap, and abandon existing pipe materials. 5. Miscellaneous concrete work for curb and sidewalk repair and replacement, lawn grading and restoration, pavement restoration, mill and overlay, and erosion and sediment control. 6. Pavement restoration within DelDOT right-of-way. Questions will be received through April 1, 2026.
