Project involves the construction of the Cape Henlopen State Park Point Trail between the Main Beach Bathhouse and the Northeast parking lot within Cape Henlopen State Park. Work comprises the construction of a new 3,320-foot (+/-) long, 10-foot wide asphalt trail, and includes a 480-foot (+/-) long, 11-foot 5-inch wide timber boardwalk. New pavement is proposed where Prettyman Lane intersects with Post Road. Sealed bids shall be addressed to the DNREC - Division of Parks and Recreation, 89 Kings Highway, Dover, DE 19901, with the envelope clearly indicating: "DNREC CONTRACT NO. NAT26805-POINTTRAIL SEALED BID - DO NOT OPEN." Emailed bids are also accepted and preferred, and must be sent prior to the bid deadline. Bidders are responsible for timely delivery regardless of method. Any bids received after the deadline will be rejected. Bid documents must be obtained by completing the online form at the provided link, after which documents will be sent by email at no cost.
