The City is soliciting sealed fixed-price bids from qualified vendors for the provision of Wastewater Treatment Chemicals-Sodium Hypochlorite & Sodium Bisulfite as specified in this Invitation for Bid: approximately one thousand two hundred (1,200) tons annually of 12.5% Sodium Hypochlorite and approximately sixty (60) tons annually of 40% Aqueous Sodium Bisulfite or Sodium Hydrogen Sulfite Solution, as outlined in the attached Specifications and General Terms and Conditions. The scope of work may include, but is not limited to, the supply and delivery of goods, performance of services, or a combination thereof, as outlined in the Contract documents. All proposed pricing shall be inclusive of all costs necessary to fulfill the Contract requirements, including labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools of the trade, transportation, and any other associated expenses. Bidders are expected to provide a comprehensive and firm fixed-price proposal that reflects full compliance with the specifications and performance standards set forth by the City. The contract shall have an initial term of one (1) year from the date of award. The City reserves the right to extend the contract for two (2) additional one (1) year terms for a maximum of three (3) years as permissible under State Law. The City reserves the right to award this bid by its separate categories or as a whole. Bidders may bid on all the categories of items or less than all the categories of items included on the pricing form. It is imperative that each vendor submits a bid for each item within a category. Failure to do so may preclude further consideration.
