Remodeling of an educational facility in Clovis, California. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.
Sealed bids are requested for the Clovis High School CAD Lab Remodel. Bids must be based on the provided drawings and specifications. A mandatory job walk is required for all bidders. The project duration is 90 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Bids must be sealed and submitted before the specified deadline. Each bid must include a bid bond, cashiers check, or certified check for at least 10% of the base bid amount. Only bids from properly licensed contractors with a Class "B" license, registered with the Department of Industrial Relations, will be considered. Contractors and their subcontractors must meet fingerprinting and student safety requirements per Education Code section 45125.2. The contract allows for the substitution of securities for retainage in compliance with Public Contract Code Section 22300. The prevailing wage rates as determined by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations apply. The District reserves the right to waive irregularities and reject any or all bids. No bids may be withdrawn for sixty days after the opening. The lowest total of all base and additive/deductive items will determine the winning bid. All compliance with labor and legal requirements is the responsibility of the bidder.
