The Rhode Island Lottery is seeking bids for standard ground maintenance, which includes annual lawn maintenance. The required services are as follows: - Mulch: Premium pine bark – Brown, 75 yards, to be priced as delivered and applied. Mulch application is to start June 8th and be completed by June 12th. - Spring Clean Up: Before the first cut, this includes de-thatching turf, re-edging walks and beds, cutting the lawn (not included in the 24 weekly cuts), and removal and disposal of all clippings off the property. - Shrubs: Trimming and shaping all shrubs as directed, to start on May 26th and complete by June 5th. All clippings and debris must be cleared and removed from the property. - Weekly Maintenance: Monday cuts are preferred, from May 4th through the week of Columbus Day (24 weeks), and then as requested. Includes cutting turf the same day each week (preferably Monday, weather permitting), trimming beds and walks, removal and disposal of all clippings, and blowing common debris off walkways and curb lines. - Fall Clean Up: Removal and disposal of all common debris and leaves from the property, lawn cutting (not included in the 24 weekly cuts), and blowing common debris off walkways and curb lines. Vendors are required to make an appointment to view the property before submitting a bid, even if they have viewed it in previous years. Only bids from vendors who have viewed the property by appointment will be accepted. Successful vendors must provide an insurance certificate. Sealed bids must be submitted in hard copy with the bid number included on the envelope. Bids sent by fax or email will not be accepted.
