Site work and paving for a road / highway in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and road / highway.
The Berkshire Regional Group Purchasing Program (BRGPP), on behalf of its participating members, is soliciting bids for joint cooperative purchases for highway supplies and service categories for the period of July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. Categories include aggregates & loam, cold patch, calcium & magnesium chloride, culvert products, guardrail (delivered and installed), line painting, pavement preservation products, chip seal, hot mix asphalt, paving, winter rock salt, winter sand, pre-treat liquid and treated winter salt, gasoline, diesel fuel, heating oil, liquid propane, catch basin cleaning & line jetting, tree work, and street sweeping. Vendors may offer products and services based on municipal location in Northern, Central, or Southern Berkshire County, or any combination. All bids for services are subject to prevailing wage rates as per Massachusetts law. A 5% bid deposit is required, unless otherwise specified in the bid package. All bidders must be pre-qualified by MassDOT for specified classes of work and values. The BRGPP reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, and to take whatever action is deemed most favorable. Minority and woman-owned businesses are encouraged to submit bids. All submissions will be considered without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, sexual orientation, or disability. BRGPP is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer. Question Response Deadline:March 30, 2026, 4:00pm All bids for services are subject to the prevailing wage rates as per Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27F inclusive and Chapter 30, Section 39M, and a 5% bid deposit is required, in the form of a bid bond or certified check, unless specified in the bid package. The BRGPP and program participants reserve the right to reject any and all bids, in total or in part. Bids which are incomplete, not properly endorsed or signed, or otherwise contrary to instructions will be rejected as non-responsive by the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) and will cancel the bid process.
