The City of Bloomington, Illinois is accepting sealed bids for the FY 2027 Sidewalk, Curb and Gutter Replacement Program. The program involves replacement work on sidewalks, curbs, and gutters. For all public works projects estimated in excess of $50,000, a project labor agreement is generally required, unless determined otherwise based on criteria such as cost, efficiency, quality, safety, timeliness, skilled labor force, labor stability, and the City's policies for advancing minority or female-owned businesses, or those utilizing minority and female workers. Project labor agreements must comply with the economic standards of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and must not require union membership or fair share payment by contractor's employees.
