Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Tahoe Vista, California. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The project consists of replacing asphalt concrete in various locations, also referred to as Patch Paving. Work is to be completed on a monthly basis, with no minimum patch size guaranteed. All labor, equipment, materials, tools, services, transportation, permits, utilities, and other items necessary for the completion of the work are to be furnished. Bidders must obtain bid documents from the District's portal and submit bids on District forms. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security of not less than ten percent (10%) of the submitted total bid price. The successful bidder will be required to provide both a Faithful Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the specified calculated cost. Bidders and subcontractors must comply with the California Labor Code, including payment of prevailing wages, registration with the Department of Industrial Relations, posting of wage rates at job sites, and other labor compliance requirements. Contractors must hold either a Class A (General Engineering) or Class C-12 (Earthwork and Paving) license. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding process.
