The scope of work generally includes the complete removal and replacement of the existing roof systems at Building 2, 3, 4, and 5 at Hanover Park High School and installation of a new system, including all other associated work as shown on the drawings and specified herein, etc. All bidders must use and complete all bid forms and must comply with every requirement contained in the instructions and specifications. Every bid must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:2-1 et seq., The Law Against Discrimination, and Affirmative Action, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1.1. et seq. All bidders and their subcontractors shall be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor, pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq. All bids must be accompanied by a Certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Labor to the Bidder and all subcontractors. All bids must be accompanied by a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue. The Bidder must include its own Business Registration Certificate and those of all subcontractors. No bidder who is on the State Treasurer's, the SDA's, or the Federal Government's List of Debarred, Suspended, or Disqualified Bidders shall be eligible to bid on this project. Bids must be submitted no later than 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days from the opening of the bids. The Hanover Park Regional Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality in the bidding process in accordance with the law if it is in the best interest of the Board of Education. The contract, if awarded, shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid is responsive in all material respects to the bid requirements. No bid shall be deemed accepted until the adoption of a formal resolution by the Hanover Park Regional Board of Education.
