Site work for a civil project in Sunnyside, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project includes the replacement of the existing 9th and Lincoln Lift Station with a new duplex pump station, wet well, and valve vault. It also includes approximately 180 linear feet of 12-inch sewer main, 70 linear feet of 8-inch force main, installation of four new manholes, and electrical control upgrades. The contract must be completed within fifty working days. Each bid must be accompanied by a bond or certified check payable to the Treasurer of the City of Sunnyside for not less than 5% of the bid. Bids must be in writing on the specified form, sealed, and filed with the City Clerk by the appointed time. Disadvantaged business enterprises will be given full and fair opportunity to submit bids, and there will be no discrimination based on race, color, or national origin. Contractors must pay at least the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the contract documents and ensure non-discrimination in employment. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities or irregularities, and make the award in the city's best interests.
