Site work for a civil project in Pelahatchie, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
Bids are to be stated for the construction of a pump station and force main and all other related items of work required to complete the project as shown and specified in the contract documents. The total contract time will be 180 consecutive calendar days, with liquidated damages of $700 per consecutive calendar day thereafter. A bid bond or a certified cashier's check in the amount of 5% of the total bid price is required. Bid documents are available via paper or digital copy through www.waggonerengplans.com. All plan holders must register and log in with a valid email address. Purchased bid documents are non-refundable. The Town of Pelahatchie reserves the right to amend specifications and contract documents, and to accept or reject any or all bids and waive any informalities. Disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, religion, or national origin. Minority and women's business enterprises are solicited to bid as prime contractors and are encouraged to seek subcontracting opportunities and equipment, material, and/or supply needs. The project is subject to federal domestic preference requirements, including the American Iron and Steel (AIS) requirements and the Build America, Buy America Act (BABA), as well as compliance with Uniform Guidance provisions from the US Treasury State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds.
