Site work for a transportation facility in Hoquiam, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
The scope of work includes constructing a new concrete foundation for above ground fuel tanks, constructing a new concrete fueling pad, constructing drainage improvements, constructing electrical improvements, grading and asphalt paving portions of the existing fuel apron, crack sealing and seal coating of the existing fuel apron pavement that is to remain, and decommissioning underground fuel storage tanks and demolishing above ground components. Bidding documents are available through Builders Exchange of Washington (BXWA), offering virtual free-of-charge access to project bid documents. Bidders are recommended to register to receive automatic email notifications of future addenda and to be listed on the Self-Registered Bidders List. Bidders who do not register will need to check the online plan room periodically for addenda. Technical questions should be directed to the listed contacts at Century West Engineering Corporation. An optional pre-bid conference will be held at Bowerman Airport, and all bidders and potential subcontractors are encouraged to attend. The contract is funded in part by a grant from the Federal Aviation Administration and is subject to federal requirements. The project is exempt from Washington State Apprentice Utilization Requirements.
