Renovation of a fire / police facility in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 15,000-square-foot fire / police facility.
Winston-Salem State University is renovating and converting the existing Physical Plan Building, approximately 15,000 square feet, into a new headquarters for Campus Police. The project consists of removal of hazardous materials as outlined in identified abatement report, demolition of the first-floor components for a new interior layout for Campus Police Staff. New HVAC, electrical and access control systems will be introduced with the new renovation. Typical spaces include: offices, new staff toilets, conference room, evidence storage, and command center.
