Site work for a recreation facility in Chauncey, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a recreation facility.
The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment for the Baileys Trail System Visitor Center utilities project. All applicable state, federal, and local use of funds restrictions, requirements, sections, and forms included in the bid specification packet must be completed and submitted with the bid. Federal Prevailing Wage Rates and Equal Employment Opportunity requirements apply. The project is subject to Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 and implementing regulations at 24 CFR part 75. All contractors and subcontractors must, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor. Compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123.2 and certain Governor's Executive Orders is required. Domestic steel use requirements as specified in Section 153.011 of the Ohio Revised Code apply. Bidders must submit a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in the amount equal to the sum of the bid or, alternatively, a Cashier's Check, Certified Check, or Letter of Credit for ten percent of the bid as security; if utilizing a check or letter of credit, a 100 percent Performance Bond and 100 percent Labor and Material Payment Bond are required upon signing of the contract. Failure to submit the required bid guaranty and notarized affidavits will result in rejection of the bid. Each bid must clearly list the full name of all parties submitting and interested in the bid and submit evidence of experience with projects of similar size and complexity. The Owner reserves rights to reject any or all bids, accept the lowest and best bid, waive minor irregularities, and act in the Owner's best interest. Project Cost Estimate is $2,100,000.00
