Site work for an industrial development in Grafton, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a industrial development.

The project is for site improvements at the Taylor County Schools Transportation Building. Bids will be received for this work. Existing Construction 11,350 sf Instructions to bidders include: A mandatory pre-bid conference for general construction is scheduled, with a site visit to follow. Contract documents are available only through the architect's electronic system, with login credentials provided upon request. Addenda will be distributed electronically to those registered as attending the mandatory pre-bid meeting. Each bidder must be registered with the West Virginia Department of Tax and Revenue and the West Virginia Secretary of State's Office prior to bid receipt and must include their registration certificate number and contractor license number on the proposal form. All bidders are required to be licensed to perform work in West Virginia. A bid bond equal to five percent of the total bid amount, furnished by a solvent surety company authorized to do business in West Virginia, must be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory performance and payment bonds, and the related fees must be included in their bid. No bid may be withdrawn for at least thirty days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Taylor County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. The project involves site improvements at the new Taylor County Transportation Building, including grading and earthwork, site cutting, and the construction of a new retaining wall. It also encompasses the installation of underground utilities, above-ground fuel tanks for diesel, gasoline, and propane along with pumps and piping, concrete and aggregate paving, chain-link fencing, and the addition of topsoil and seeding. Additionally, the project covers site electrical work and other Work indicated on the Contract Documents 2. The fuel pumps, electrical, piping, storage tanks, etc., are delegated design. Contractors are to coordinate all items with the fuel tank and pumps manufacturer and other work indicated on the Contract Documents. B. Type of Contract: 1.
