Demolition and site work for a swimming pool in Liberal, Kansas. Completed plans call civil work for an outdoor swimming pool.
As of April 26, 2026, the project was awarded to Stopple Dirt, LLC, with an awarded amount of $250,905.19. Sealed bids are sought to perform demolition, backfill, compaction, and grading work at the Adventure Bay Family Water Park. Qualified bidders must carry appropriate certificates of insurance. Change orders are not accepted without prior approval from an authorized representative. Compliance with all applicable laws and statutory regulations is required. A current City of Liberal Contractors and business license is required from the bidder. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The City does not pre-pay for projects and terms will be negotiated prior to signing a formal contract. The City will obtain any necessary permits. The contractor is responsible for site safety, debris removal, and protection of adjacent property. Bids must be submitted in sealed, hard copy format to the City Clerk, clearly labeled as "Pool Demo Bid." Bidders must use the provided bid sheet and provide proof of current business insurance.
