**As of May 12, 2026, the project was awarded to Interstate Concrete & Asphalt, Co, with an awarded amount of $851,147.74** The project involves the construction of a two-tier parking lot for the City of Post Falls Police Department, with public parking on the lower (southern) tier, secure parking on the upper (northern) tier, a 24-foot-wide connecting drive aisle, and a reserved future-development pad between the two parking tiers. The work generally includes site demolition, clearing and grubbing, excavation, grading, asphalt paving, striping for parking stalls, construction of concrete walls up to 3-feet in height, curbing, drainage curb cuts, valley gutters, sidewalks, a concrete approach, bioinfiltration swales, berms, a V-ditch, installation of wheel stops, fencing with smooth barbed-wire, security gates, trench drain, riprap, single-depth drywells, domestic water, fire and sanitary sewer services, utility conduits, lighting, landscaping, irrigation system, erosion control, traffic control, and other associated site improvements. Bidders must have a State of Idaho Public Works Contractor License. Bids must be accompanied by bid security of 5% of the proposal amount. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities, and accept the proposal deemed most advantageous. All prospective bidders are directed to the Instructions to Bidders for details on bid policies, procedures, and requirements. Minority business enterprises are encouraged to submit responses. Discrimination based on race, religion, color, age, sex, or national origin is prohibited in consideration for award. Any subcontract agreements must include this non-discrimination notice.
