Sealed proposals are invited for the Gadsden Tennis Center Project, Bid Request No. 3640, to be located in the City of Gadsden, Alabama. Bids must be submitted either by mail or in person to the City Clerk. Bid documents may be inspected at City Hall or requested electronically from Chambless King Architects. All bidders must be registered with Chambless King Architects. A cashier's check or bid bond, equal to the lesser of five percent (5%) of the bid or ten thousand dollars ($10,000), must accompany each bid. The successful bidder must provide a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond and insurance within ten days of award notification. All bidders must comply with Alabama public works bid law and contractor licensing requirements, and provide their current license number. The contract is tax-exempt, and all parties must affirm compliance with federal immigration law. Bidders must certify non-segregated facilities and handicap accessibility compliance. All potential bidders are welcome to visit the site, if desired, with no requirement to obtain permission and/or to be accompanied by the owner.
