The Town of St. Michaels is requesting a bid and proposal from qualified professional engineering firms to remove or modify the existing infrastructure and propose upgraded docks, piers, pilings, bulkheads, boat ramps, walkways, kayak launch, pocket park, rain gardens, lighting, parking areas and other improvements currently in or proposed for the Project Area in the Resiliency Study. It is anticipated that the bulkhead, docks, piers and pilings will mitigate 5' mean sea level rise. The consultant shall include a discussion with the CC/SLRC as to whether floating docks are feasible given the Town's Harbor Line, estimated cost, and the preservation of the existing number of slips.
