The County is seeking bids from qualified firms for comprehensive testing, inspection, maintenance, certification, and emergency repair services for fire suppression systems in County facilities. Agreements will be established with contractors who can ensure fire prevention systems are maintained in full operational condition and compliant with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements. The agreement term is one year with an option to extend for four additional one-year terms. Contractors must have the appropriate licensure, manufacturer authorization, registration with the California Department of Industrial Relations, and must comply with prevailing wage requirements. Contractors must have the operational capacity, technical expertise, and qualified personnel to perform scheduled maintenance and testing during work hours, coordinate with County representatives, minimize disruption, and provide written reports and certifications within required timeframes. Emergency repair coverage must be available 24/7 with a certified technician onsite within two hours of notification and repairs pursued diligently until systems are restored. All work must meet professional standards, is subject to County inspection and approval, and requires advance scheduling, notifications, complete documentation, and maintaining systems in code-compliant, fully operational condition capable of protecting personnel, property, and the public.
