Reference Number 0000416802 The Village of Pleasantville is seeking to execute an agreement for a Public Works Contract to complete roadway improvements from approximately July 1, 2026 through September 30, 2026. Bids shall be made on the forms furnished with the Bid Documents. As a Bid security, each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or Bid bond in the amount of five (5%) percent of the total amount of the base Bid, payable to the Village of Pleasantville. Bidders who submit certified checks must accompany them with a Consent of Surety from a recognized Bonding Company. The Bid security shall be held by Village as a guarantee for the proper execution and delivery of the Contract and bonds to secure the faithful performance thereof. Attention of Bidders is called furnish performance and payment bonds from an acceptable surety company in the form annexed hereto in the total amount of the Contract. The Village of Pleasantville reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any informality in any Bid, and to award the contract to other than the lowest Bidder if deemed in the best interest of the Village to do so.
