Separate sealed proposals are requested for the Penn Yan Central School District 2026 Capital Improvement Project under different prime contracts, including Contract 103: Electrical Construction Contract and Contract 101: General Construction Contract. Bidders must submit their proposals to the Board of Education at the designated construction trailer between the Penn Yan Elementary School and the Penn Yan Maintenance Building. Bids must be submitted in hard copy, as electronic or faxed bids will not be accepted. Bidders are required to provide a valid NYS Department of Labor Public Work Contractor and Subcontractor Registry Certificate of Registration, and submit bid security and other data as required by the Bidding Documents. Each bid must also include, in a separate sealed envelope, a list of names and amounts to be paid to applicable HVAC, Plumbing, and/or Electrical subcontractors, as specified. The list cannot be altered except in certain circumstances as defined by law. The bidding documents, including instructions to bidders, form of proposal, general conditions, drawings, and specifications, are available for examination at the offices of the Owner and specified plan rooms.
