Renovation of a power facility in Marion, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
Installation of a roof-mounted solar photovoltaic system on the Department of Public Works (DPW) Operations Building. Sealed proposals are invited from qualified responders for this work. The Town of Marion reserves the right to reject any and all bids if it is in its best interest. The selected vendor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to deliver a fully operational solar photovoltaic system. Services shall include but not be limited to: Engineering and Design o Structural and electrical engineering as required o System layout and design o Interconnection coordination with utility provider Permitting Vendor shall obtain all required permits including: o building permits o electrical permits o utility interconnection approvals o inspections required by the Town or other authorities Installation Vendor shall provide: o solar modules o mounting systems o inverters o wiring and electrical connections o safety equipment Commissioning Vendor shall provide: o system testing o final inspections o commissioning documentation o owner training Monitoring Vendor shall provide internet-based remote monitoring with: o production tracking o system alerts o online performance reporting Question Deadline 03/27/2026 Questions regarding this RFP shall be submitted in writing to: Geoffrey Gorman Email: ggorman@marionma.gov
