Provide all labor and equipment necessary for the Secondary Sedimentation Tanks 10 & 16 Rehabilitation Project at 8521 Laguna Station Road, Elk Grove, CA. Bids must be addressed to SacSewer (EchoWater), 8521 Laguna Station Rd, Elk Grove, CA 95758, Attn: RFB No. 8529. The bidder envelope must clearly list the contractor name and return address. Contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations, and the project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement. All contractors and subcontractors must furnish electronic certified payroll records directly to the Labor Commissioner. The successful bidder shall pay not less than the prevailing rate of per diem wages as determined by the Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations. A bid bond/deposit not less than ten percent of the aggregate total bid is required. The successful bidder must furnish a 100 percent Performance Bond and Payment Bond. The posting and maintaining of wage determinations at the project site throughout the duration of the work is required. The improvements in Tank 10 includes miscellaneous replacement or repairs to the scum deflector, sluice gates, and drain pipes as shown on the drawings. Tank 10 will be completely blasted and recoated per the drawings. The improvements in Tank 16 includes blasting and recoating the steel below the super structure per drawings and re-use the equipment in the tank. The superstructure will be lightly sanded per manufactures recommendations and coated per specifications without removing the walkways as shown on the drawings.
